Kaai 13 Brasserie

Friendly staff, good food, nice atmosphere, but pricy. Cocktails are also okey. Oysters were outstanding, while the main dishes were just okey, therefore the missing link for the value/price. Just the food/drinks would be 3 star for me, but they made it up with friendliness, so 4 star it is.

My fav place for drinks and brunch!! The food is very tasty, the place is cozy and nice and the staff is very friendly. Definitely recommended!

Just came back from Kaai 13, our one the first experiences with a restaurant after Covid19 lockdown. They were very careful and took all the right measures. We ate inside as it was rainy but everything was perfect. We really liked the food, everything was delicious and the staff was very friendly. Definitely recommend it!

Okay so at first I wanted to give less stars but I was a little more convinced throughout the night. The food is fine I think, I personally thought there was a huge butter taste to every side dish there was to my main course which I very much dislike, also the ratio to meat/sidedishes was off to me (TOO much meat in comparison, just a huge protein intake). My SO's burger was amazing and we both agreed that was worth coming back for. Service was okay at first, better later; I was not given my complete order and our waiter profoundly excused both himself and the kitchen, which was a nice gesture. The ladies who brought us drinks and dessert seemed kinda new? Forgot straws, saw multiple tables getting orders which were meant for other tables. The nuisance; we ordered through the Fork, which made our dinner ridiculously cheap (50% off our food excluding drinks) and I would feel very bad for rating this place badly, it's not a bad restaurant! It's maybe just not my style of food. Ambience; a-ma-zing, we sat outside at the water but when I looked inside I almost regretted it, great terrace and beautiful garden. Worth your time!

We were lucky enough to be staying in a hotel just round the corner from this lovely restaurant and we ate there both nights we were in The Hague. There is nothing to dislike - the location is perfect; the restaurant is stylish and comfortable; the food is excellent and owner is a friendly and charming man. Also, I loved the collection of Dutch Lego houses - so pretty! We will definitely go back if we are that way again.
